Description

Handcrafted from rich West African Iroko wood, this cutting board brings a natural elegance to your kitchen. Carefully sanded to a smooth finish, it is treated with three coats of food-safe mineral oil to enhance the wood's durability and grain. The board can be maintained by reapplying the mineral oil as needed to keep it nourished and protected.

If the grain of the wood becomes slightly raised over time, a light sanding will restore its silky texture, making it ready for a fresh coat of mineral oil. Perfect for both function and beauty, this piece is a kitchen staple designed to last.

Finish: 100% pure food-safe mineral oil (USP grade)
Construction: Single solid piece (no glued segments or lamination)

After Each Use:

Brush off flour and crumbs
Wipe with damp cloth if needed
Dry immediately - never leave wet
For sticky dough: scrape gently with bench scraper, then wipe clean
Don't submerge in water
Monthly Maintenance:

Reapply food-safe mineral oil when wood looks dry
Apply thin coat to both sides, let soak 20 minutes, wipe excess
Oil prevents cracking, warping, and staining
More frequent oiling in first 6 months of use
If Grain Becomes Raised:

Light sanding with 220-grit sandpaper (sand with the grain)
Wipe away dust with damp cloth
Let dry completely
Apply fresh coat of mineral oil
This restores silky smooth texture
