Stone Base:

Dust weekly with soft dry cloth
For marks: Wipe with barely damp cloth, dry immediately
Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners
Natural stone may develop patina over time - this is normal aging

Dust regularly with soft brush or lint roller
Spot clean with damp cloth and mild soap (unplug first)

What it replaces: Cheap ceramic or resin table lamps from high street stores that fake the look of natural materials. These mass-produced alternatives use painted ceramic bases designed to mimic stone (chips easily, looks unconvincing up close) or molded resin with fake marble patterns (plasticky feel, lightweight and flimsy)
Why it matters: Natural stone is chemically inert - it doesn't off-gas, doesn't leach, doesn't degrade. Linen is plant-based natural fiber that doesn't shed microplastics like polyester shades. When your bedside lamp heats up to 60-70°C during use, these materials stay completely stable.

FAQ's

Natural stone is porous and can mark from liquids if left unsealed. We recommend sealing the base annually with natural stone sealer (available at hardware stores) to protect against water rings and stains.

All our corded lights come with a Uk 3 Pin Plug and 150cm Fabric Wrapped cord, check the product description but most of our lamps now include a bulb!
