Fabric: 100% natural cotton - no synthetic fibers,
no flame retardant chemicals commonly found in
mass-produced fabric shades. Breathable material
that naturally diffuses light for softer illumination.

Construction: Handcrafted with visible attention to
detail. Conical shade and base create balanced
proportions.

Cable: 150cm fabric-wrapped cord with inline switch
for convenient on/off control without reaching behind
furniture.

Why these materials: Natural cotton doesn't off-gas
VOCs when warmed by bulbs (unlike synthetic fabrics).
Creates genuinely soft, diffused light while being
kind to indoor air quality.

Fabric shade and base: Dust regularly with soft, dry
cloth or vacuum with brush attachment on low setting.
For spot cleaning, use barely-damp cloth on small
areas - test first in inconspicuous spot.

Avoid: Water or liquid cleaners that could stain or
damage fabric. Don't saturate fabric.

Bulb: Requires E14 bulb (not included). We recommend
our D020 E14 Round LED for optimal light quality and
efficiency.

Cable: Fabric-wrapped cord - wipe with dry cloth if
needed. Keep away from moisture.

Placement: Keep away from direct moisture (bathrooms,
near windows in rainy weather). Natural fabric performs
best in dry environments.

What it replaces: Synthetic fabric lamp shades treated with flame retardants and made from polyester that sheds microplastics. Also replaces plastic lamp bases that off-gas when heated.

All our corded lights come with a Uk 3 Pin Plug and 150cm Fabric Wrapped cord, check the product description but most of our lamps now include a bulb!
