What it replaces: Mass-produced glass pendant shades from high street retailers that use industrial molding processes instead of hand-blown craftsmanship. These factory-made alternatives lack depth and visual texture - they're uniform, predictable, and identical to thousands of others. Cheap pendants often use thin glass that feels fragile, with applied color coatings that can peel or fade rather than integrated colored glass.
Why it matters: Borosilicate glass is virtually indestructible under normal use. It doesn't degrade, discolor, or become brittle like cheap soda-lime glass. The colors are integrated into the glass structure during creation - they can't fade, peel, or wear off because they're part of the material itself.

FAQ's

During installation, feed the cable through the ceiling rose to your desired hanging height, then secure it in place using the cable grip mechanism provided. Once set, the cable locks and won't slip. Maximum drop is 150cm; minimum is approximately 30cm depending on ceiling rose design.

All our corded lights come with a Uk 3 Pin Plug and 150cm Fabric Wrapped cord, check the product description but most of our lamps now include a bulb!
